Homeless/ Housing
Meeting tomorrow Wednesday March 12th at 5:30 for an hour at the
Bega Uniting Church, Cnr Carp and Upper Street Bega.
Meeting in the rear large room entrance via the Eastern side of
the complex adjacent to three of our very successful crisis transitional
units.
All most welcome !
I think we can gather to look at what we are doing and plan a
direction for our housing homelessness advocacy around the crisis in the
Valley .
I would also like to send a message to council supporting the LAP
as presented by Simon Daly, draft by Roz Hansen, and to be
investigated by council and the AHIG.
Love input and positive energy.
Cheers

The Social Justice Advocates of the Sapphire Coast (SJASC)
in collaboration with the Sapphire Coast Historical Vehicle Club
(SCHVC) plan to build a Pilot Community Solar Garden and Energy
Storage System on the club s grounds. This project will feature
advanced solar generation, coupled with ground-breaking
energy storage technology. The stored energy will be strategically
sold-off during optimal times, providing our Bega Valley community
with an annual estimate of $75,000.00 to be used to benefit those
facing economic challenges. Please join us to learn more about this
exciting, local, community initiative. You will also have the
opportunity to view the vehicle club s immaculately
restored vehicles. Our Solar Project Team will be on site at the
SJASC Marquee for any Questions. All are welcome. We appreciate your
support.
