In summary, the affected land is now up for sale via ACT agents and Tura Beach Biodiversity are on the case, making sure potential buyers are aware of the implications and history of the site.
***With local media now 'subscription only' it is harder than ever for small to community groups to get information into the community.

SJA have received this from a group concerned about a proposed quarry near Wallagoot/Bournda.
It's a quarry, so think trucks, blasting etc
Once again with much local media moving to subscription model, SJA are passing on this information in the community interest.
To find out more there is a web link below.

An SJA member has passed on this request:
Hello everyone,
My daughter (7), our three well-behaved cats, and I are looking for a two-bedroom rental, preferably close to Bega. We’re a quiet, responsible little family who take great care of our home and value stability and community.
Our cats are indoor, litter-trained, and much-loved members of the family. We’re happy to provide references and can pay up to $580 per week.
If you know of anything suitable, or have a property becoming available, we would be so grateful to hear from you. Please feel free to email me directly at goddardpamelacleo@gmail.com
Thank you so much for keeping us in mind

Another fantastic Social Justice Advocates – Friends of Potoroo Palace working bee was held this Saturday. A cheerful band of volunteers worked hard clearing debris and tidying up to help preparing for koalas arriving from Ballarat, as well as cutting back around the wombat enclosure.
A big thankyou to Nico and Alexandra for the delicious lunch afterwards..
These working bees are run by Social Justice Advocates volunteers, and everyone’s welcome to come along and lend a hand.
