Reminder to all SJASC Members and Friends – Annual Dues Due 30 June

Hi to all our much-valued members and friends

The SJASC strives to build and maintain its capability through a strong membership base.

To become a member of the SJASC, or to maintain your membership, requires an annual membership ‘due’ of just $5 per annum.

Renewals are due on the 30th of June each year and can be paid via the SJASC website.

Please remember to renew, or, take the plunge and become a paid-up member by June 30.

Membership entitles you to receive notices of up-coming meetings, events and generally keep up to date with SJASC activities.

Membership also means that you are covered by the SJASC Public Liability Insurance Policy when engaged in SJASC events.

Thank you so much for your support of the SJASC.

Allies and Mob Sub Group:

After consultation with the members of our subgroup we have recently changed our name to Allies and Mob. Allies and Mob are always keen for new people to join us. Our next meeting is 5pm Tuesday 24th June 2025 Tura Marrang Library, Tura Beach Drive, Tura Beach 2548 Djiringanj Country

We hope our SJA membership likes our new name, we want to be active Allies with our local Mobs and support and encourage membership within the group. We see real opportunities to collaborate together.

Allyship is a verb an action. It s not about being an Ally as an identity it s about committing to allyship as a behaviour every day. It s about shifting the way you see the world, your approach to educating yourself and the actions you take in each moment big and small.

For more information on Allyship we encourage our members to read the attached article
