I am looking for an electrician who can offer service to the SJA .
Whilst I understand such a trade needing to make a living , but I am seeking the services of a sparkie who has the compassion and understanding of the operations and work of our charity in the housing / Homelessness sector in the Valley .
We have other trades working with us and achieving massive savings for us .
Please ask around for sparkies who might like to contribute directly to the welfare of our community . Cheers

For your consideration prior to AGM/GM from Gavin Bell:
A name change …
I would like to propose we change the name of the Sub Group to the Multicultural Sub Group.
I have never liked either Refugees or Migrants in the name and I find the word Multicultural more inclusive. Assistance required please
As I am standing down as sub group convenor after this meeting, I am asking for people to stand in and form a team to continue this work.
There are only 2 main areas –
- Firstly, the Annual MARSS (Migrant and Refugee Settlement Services) visit which I will co-ordinate again this year, the date is set for Thurs Nov 12th to Sunday Nov 15th.
I have lists of host families and instructions about co-ordinating the activities during the weekend holiday.
- Secondly, any ad-hoc requests that come through during the year dealing with individuals or families and co-ordinating where required with the local Service Clubs etc.
There may be members or friends of members who have some great ideas about what can be done to assist Multicultural inclusiveness on the Sapphire Coast.
Multicultural Festival
In collaboration with the Merimbula Rotary Club and Pambula Merimbula Lions, we will be holding the Sapphire Coast Multicultural Festival on Sunday November 15th, 8.30am to 12.30pm, at the Merimbula Markets, Ford Oval, Merimbula. See attached Poster.
This promises to be a morning of great experiences, held in conjunction with the MARSS weekend and indeed hopefully, highlighting some skills and demonstrations by the visitors.
Thanks Gavin Bell, Convenor
****Please see Multicultural Festival flyer attached.
