REGISTRATIONS TO VOLUNTEER AT GIIYONG FESIVAL 2025 ARE NOW OPEN
https://www.giiyong.com.au/volunteer
Event date: Saturday 22 November 2025
There are a number of roles that need to be filled by volunteers for the Giiyong Festival. Volunteering can be very rewarding, here are just some of the feedback we get from our volunteers:
I can’t think of a better way to give back to our local community
I learnt so much about Aboriginal culture and met so many amazing people
This looks great on my CV (they even gave me a reference)
I love sharing with my mob, they come from all over and it’s like a big family reunion
Watching people from all over the community come and learn about our Culture makes me feel proud
I love working with the Giiyong crew, they are very professional and do a great job
We don't care who you are, or where you are from but you must be over 18 years of age. Come and make the Giiyong Festival experience yours! It’s a great way to contribute to the community and also get some experience of a big event with many moving parts, produced by a professional crew with lots of skills to share.
There are a variety of teams that need volunteers during 2025 Giiyong Festival. We hope to see you there! If you have questions, please CONTACT US
EACH VOLUNTEER receives a free ticket to Giiyong Festival and a volunteer’s tshirt.
