We are concreting a car park space and preparing 28 holes for planting as per the conditions of our successful Land and Environment court decision.
No experience required just willingness and a smile . Come and help please for as long as suits your day .

Seeking a volunteer to promote SJASC's relationship with the Bega Circular Valley Program
SJA members might be aware of the Bega Circular Valley Program. It is an important initiative that closely aligns with the environmental values held by the SJASC. More than enough detail can be found by Googling 'Bega Circular Valley'
The SJASC are seeking a volunteer ('envoy') who would represent / promote the presence of the SJASC in respect of the Program. What this entails would be very much up to whoever takes on the role. The Program does not hold regular meetings. Rather it holds periodic ( somewhat infrequent ) community workshops, business breakfasts, and information sessions.
We would imagine that our envoy would attend enough Program events and participate in enough discussions , to establish a relationship that makes it clear that the SJASC actively supports the Program.
It would help if the SJASC envoy were to liaise with the SJASC volunteers who currently represent the SJASC at each of the five secondary schools in the Bega Valley, in order to further boost the school circularity programmes that have been developed .
Regular up-dates on progress, submitted to the SJASC Secretary for circulation to all members, would be very helpful.
